Although this online journal navigates away from the search item of ‘digital immigrant’ it is an interesting read that demonstrates the impact of individualisation on the Digital Divide and how it represents the social divide in meatspace. Again it was published a few years ago and studies the USA rather than the UK that could be seen as a negative part to the journal page. It relates to the findings of scholars, but does have a tendency to keep referring back to the same ones over and over, which decreases the usability in terms of people citing its own ideas in academic writing. It describes studies made by a ‘research team’, though no mention is made as to who the members are- how do we know they are reliable and are practicing the studies they say they are? The study also focuses more on one economic status group than another, which will inevitably gage biased results. (A stronger focus on the one group was intended but for the reader, it leaves them wondering about the possible results of the other group to compare the two.
