This is a page on a popular website, and could be argued that the company and author are dependable sources. It is a few years out of date which slightly compromises its reliability, however extremely easy to use and navigate. The main issue on this page is the restraints of generation determining whether someone is a Digital Immigrant or Digital Native.
At the beginning of the text, it has set ideas about what determines the category a person may be in; however, the further into the article, the more the writer’s ideas are challenged and to such an extent it does not come to a satisfactory conclusion. It touches upon the effects of digitality on business and discrimination. It also uses an interesting case study (but could be very biased and unreliable for some) but suggests the minds of natives are physically different to immigrants’. I would disagree with this, as all human life has the same physical brain, it is the environment it is subjected to that changes its function and the way it processes information. I do understand what the page is saying in this case, but it could be phrased a little better.

I agree that all humans have the same brains, and their environments shape them. Do you think that their is bias from a 'digital immigrant' perspective as these notions arise from a 'digital immigrants' point of view? Could it be a way of defining something that older generations are just not necessarily used to?
